Cheeky products : officially registered with The Vegan Society

Our mision to bring Simple Reusables to as many people as possible is an ever evolving one as new wants and needs emerge,  more types of materials are developed for production, or, in fact, as new requests come from Customers, telling us what would make their lives easier.

We're always on the lookout to do our best today and better ourselves tomorrow, and continually thinking about what more we could be doing.   Never resting on the our laurels. 

Our stance on sustainability is exactly the same.

We keep sustainability at the core of our business and all areas of our business are considered from product and packaging, to ingredients and suppliers since day 1.

Gratifyingly, this was reflected in this year's Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Developement - which is awarded to commercially successful businesses who benefit the environment, society and the economy. More information on our award can be found here.

When it came to veganism through this lens of sustainability, it was really important for us to be able to offer and guarantee, with credibility and authenticity that our products are truly vegan.

Not just for our customers, but also for ourselves.

It's important for us to know that we're doing just one more thing to minimize our environmental impact and make change possible, for more of us. Whatever your beliefs or dietary preferences.

For us, veganism and the quest for the credibility of using the vegan trademark against our products was about a belief in our whole business, from production process,  materials and packaging that gets the products from us to you.

It's fair to say that this is a pretty rigorous process (to say the very least....Our admin superstar Heidi has the patience of a Saint!)

However it's a hugely worthwhile one when we know why we're doing it..........

The fantastic news is that earlier this month we received confirmation from The Vegan Society that they have awarded us with the ability to use the Vegan trademark.

Recognition and endorsement.

'Certified by the Vegan Society'.

From now on you'll notice 48 of our products - from oils to pants to wet-bags, wipes and more carrying the new vegan logo in the bottom left hand corner, across our site.

This logo means Pants with absolutely no wool content, unlike other Period Pants on the market.

Ethically extracted ingredients, which are never tested on animals.

That includes all fabrics used in pads, wipes and bags being made with "dyes manufactured without the use of any animal products, by-products or derivatives (the word 'animal' referring to the entire animal kingdom. That is all vertebrates and all multi-cellular invertebrates)." (And yes, that is quoting the specific rigour our product checks went through).
