How do period knickers work?
Some big brands will try to befuddle you as to why their period pants are so expensive. All pairs of period pants work in a similar way:
- a moisture wicking top layer against your skin
- absorbent layers to soak up the blood
- leak proof layer on the outside
Cheeky Pants have absorbency to the front and rear waistband as standard which means you can feel safe and secure no matter what!
How to wash your high waist period knickers?
Remove after use and either rinse under cold water or soak in cold water overnight.
To wash period pants, always use a cool wash, maximum 3oc and hotting temperatures can 'set' the bloodstains.
Avoid fabric softener and the tumble dryer.

"Really impressed with the period knickers! After using reusable pads for a couple of years I thought I’d try them out. The hipster shorts are really comfortable, feel secure with no digging in and so far I’ve had no leaks. I would say my flow is medium to heavy / very heavy, the shorts are for medium flow and they have worked well for me for on my lighter days at the start and end of my period. I’ve used the feeling fearless high waisted pants on heavier days, these are a tighter fit around the leg holes and look massive, but haven’t let me down yet so will continue to use them. I wish the shorts came in a heavy flow option, I could live in them! I’m a size 12 and purchased size 12-14."
